Commercial Strategy & Partnerships
Accelerating commercial deployment through targeted industrial evaluation, co-development, and strategic R&D partnerships.
EQx Power is structured as a deep-tech licensing and architecture business rather than a heavy component manufacturer. Our commercial roadmap targets architectural lock-in: embedding EQx solid-state power management directly into high-growth, infrastructure-grade electrical stacks.
Prior to full certification and broad patent grants, EQx is establishing early commercial traction through paid engineering evaluations, joint development agreements, and targeted innovation grants alongside leading academic and industrial research partners.
Pre-Certification & Early Commercial Pathways
We collaborate with industry leaders across five primary high-demand verticals to validate, co-develop, and integrate the EQx power primitive into existing infrastructure.
| Vertical | Engagement Mechanism | Target Access Route | Development Scope |
|---|---|---|---|
| Data Centres | Paid Engineering Evaluation / PoC Contract | Hyperscaler & colocation innovation programmes | Bench evaluation & instantaneous power scaling in server power stacks |
| Electric Aviation / eVTOL | Feasibility Study / Bench Demonstration | ATI R&D streams & aerospace prime innovation hubs (e.g., Airbus BizLab, Boeing HorizonX) | Thermal stability and non-linear power density characterisation |
| EV / Automotive | Joint Development Agreement (JDA) | Tier 1 suppliers & automotive powertrain manufacturers | Subsystem integration for ultra-fast charging and inverter architecture |
| PV / Solar Film | Co-Development / Validation Fee | Commercial solar partners & existing industrial relationships | Direct exergy optimization in generation and storage interfaces |
| Non-Dilutive Grants | Competitive R&D Grant Funding | ATI Smaller Business stream & Innovate UK feasibility rounds | Materials characterisation and independent laboratory validation |
Detailed commercial project scopes, financial models, and timeline projections are available under NDA in our Data Room.
Long-Term Business Model: Licensing & Scale
As technical validation progresses and IP protection matures globally, EQx transitions into a pure-play licensing model:
- Performance-Based Licensing: Royalty structures based on a percentage of delivered energy/power gain for high-value infrastructure like AI data centres and grid energy storage (BESS).
- Unit-Volume Royalties: Per-unit licensing integrated into high-volume power semiconductors, automotive power trains, and consumer electronics.
- Strategic Liquidity Pathway: Preserving multiple strategic exit options with an IPO as our preferred long-term liquidity pathway, complemented by potential strategic acquisition by global power or semiconductor leaders.
